Love's not about sharing beauty tips
Much to her horror, Liz Hurley’s boyfriend Shane Warne is slowly turning into one of her girlfriends!
Liz is reportedly getting irritated with her lover’s new found obsession to transform into a pretty boy.
Initially Liz was pleased with Warnie’s desire to loose some flab, but all these conversations on peels, anti-ageing beauty procedures and what juice to drink are annoying her. She wants him to go back to being his old self.
Girls do like their men groomed but no woman wants to be stuck with a man who wants to share her make-up and vanity kit.
So when it comes to grooming and embracing a beauty regime, where do girls want their men to stop?
Socialite Tanisha Mohan answers, “Male grooming is mostly about maintaining hygiene levels and cleanliness. They should look after themselves but at the same time also realise that love doesn’t mean sharing your girlfriend’s creams and products,” says Tanisha.
She also points out that the stubble has never been more in than it is now, which means the macho and rugged looking guy is in.
Just take a look at John Abraham in the promos of his upcoming film Force, to see how appealing a macho looking guy is. A man has to behave like one if he wants to be considered one, says Tanisha.
But model Noyonika Chatterjee disagrees. She says she doesn’t find men who are obsessed with beauty products or “girlie” conversations strange since she has spent half her life in the modelling industry where you have to be vain about your appearance to survive.
“I am used to people being obsessed about their looks and I think it is a good thing because in our profession you have to have good, hair, skin and body,” says Noyonika. She says it’s important for the guys too to be clued in on the best beauty products in the market as they have to look good to survive. They can’t risk a botched up Botox job.
Guess Shane Warne can move on to dating a model if things don’t work out with Liz as she won’t be freaked out with his girlie talk.
