New Deputy Superintendent Begins Work in PVPUSD

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District recently welcomed a new deputy superintendent of business services to the district.

Lydia Cano previously worked for the El Rancho Unified School District and the Little Lake City School District as the assistant superintendent of business services and director of fiscal services. She started in the Palos Verdes district Jan. 1 after a Dec. 13 vote for her hire by the PVPUSD Board of Education.

Cano replaced Pearl Iizuka, who retired in December.
