She received a J.D., with honors, from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2011 and a B.A. in Advertising Management and Latin American Studies, summa cum laude, from Southern Methodist University in 2006. Prior to joining Thompson & Knight, she served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Paul M. Newby in the Supreme Court of North Carolina in 2010. Matthew H. Swerdlow joins the Firm’s Real Estate and Banking Practice Group. He received a J.D., cum laude, from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2011 and a B.B.A. in Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin in 2005.
